About the Role
This full-time, on-site role is based in McLean, VA, and seeks a Senior .NET / C# Developer to build and maintain software applications. The role involves working closely with the development team to design, develop, and deploy software solutions using .NET and C# technologies.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Understand and contribute to architectural design decisions
- Maintain openness to learning and adapting to feedback, including revising code based on core review comments
- Respect and consider differing viewpoints within the team
- Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout all tasks
- Continuously analyze and retain knowledge of previously implemented solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise web application development
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
- Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, and LINQ
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS/Angular), HTML5, CSS3, and Xamarin is advantageous
- Skilled in development and version control tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and Jira
- Solid understanding of standard security practices and tools
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- High work ethic and a commitment to continual learning and skill enhancement
Additional Information:
- Candidates will complete a sample task to demonstrate their technical abilities
- Position offers a hybrid remote work setup in McLean, VA
- Competitive salary range: $105,000 to $180,000 annually
