About the Role

The Full Stack Developer will contribute to FAA-focused programs, building and maintaining web applications that support enterprise infrastructure services. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver software solutions that improve aviation system operations. The position emphasizes end-to-end development, troubleshooting, and customer support while encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business requirements into working software.
  • Partner with Scrum Masters to enhance team performance and ensure timely delivery of quality software.
  • Participate in Agile software development practices and Scrum team activities.
  • Contribute to estimating, planning, developing, testing, and releasing web applications.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve product functionality and user experience.
  • Support customer troubleshooting and system maintenance as needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve personal, team, and process performance.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in software-related fields.
  • Proficiency in .NET/C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server or equivalent database development.
  • Familiarity with multi-developer environments and source control processes.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented principles and classical design patterns.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident (3+ years U.S. residency required) with ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MVC frameworks and web services development.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js, Backbone.js, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization, mobile development, and integrating third-party applications.
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous work.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and FAA program experience.
  • Interest in emerging technology trends and research.
