About the Role

This position focuses on the further development of ConfigurationDesk®, dSPACE’s configuration and code generation tool. The tool supports the automatic implementation of behavioral models, I/O, and automotive bus systems in HIL simulators. The role involves developing C#/.NET components and contributing across the entire software development lifecycle. It is suitable for both experienced professionals and motivated graduates.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in defining requirements for new functionalities
  • Design, implement, and test software components in C#/.NET
  • Maintain and document developed features
  • Collaborate closely with developers and test engineers
  • Adhere to established development processes
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET or similar high-level programming languages (e.g., Java, C++)
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles including UML, OOA/OOD
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time or embedded systems
  • Familiarity with MATLAB®/Simulink®
  • Web development knowledge (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS)
  • German language skills are a plus
