About the Role
This position focuses on the further development of ConfigurationDesk®, dSPACE’s configuration and code generation tool. The tool supports the automatic implementation of behavioral models, I/O, and automotive bus systems in HIL simulators. The role involves developing C#/.NET components and contributing across the entire software development lifecycle. It is suitable for both experienced professionals and motivated graduates.
Responsibilities
- Participate in defining requirements for new functionalities
- Design, implement, and test software components in C#/.NET
- Maintain and document developed features
- Collaborate closely with developers and test engineers
- Adhere to established development processes
- Provide technical support to customers as needed
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in C#/.NET or similar high-level programming languages (e.g., Java, C++)
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles including UML, OOA/OOD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Independent and reliable working style
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real-time or embedded systems
- Familiarity with MATLAB®/Simulink®
- Web development knowledge (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS)
- German language skills are a plus
